Spicy Mini Pizzas

Spice up your pizza game with these spicy mini pizzas! Customize them to your liking or try our suggested fiery toppings.


For the Pizza Sauce

Pizza Toppings

  • 14oz sheet ready-rolled light puff pastry
  • Whole Calabrian Chili Peppers, sliced
  • Roland® Pitted Kalamata Olives, sliced
  • Italian Sweet Sausage
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


For the Pizza Sauce

  1. Sautee the onion and garlic until translucent, then add the anchovy paste and tomato paste. Sautee together for a few minutes
  2. Add the tomatoes, water, bail, and a pinch of sugar. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes
  3. Using an immersion blender, blend until smooth. Adjust with salt to taste

For the Pizza Minis

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. On a clean surface, unroll the puff pastry and cut it into 5' x 3' rectangles. Lay the puff pastry rectangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet
  2. Using a knife, score a 1cm border around the edge of each pastry square. Bake for 15 minutes, until puffed but not fully cooked
  3. Remove the semi-cooked pastry from the oven and use a spoon to gently pop the top of the pastry squares. Spoon on a bit of sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella, and arrange with Italian sausage, Kalamata olives, and Calabrian Chilis
  4. Bake for another 5-8 minutes. Finish with basil leaves and a drizzle of olive oil
