Charred Broccolini with Garlic Lemon Sauce

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
  2. Trim 2 inches off the ends of the broccolini stems and cut any thick stalks in half lengthwise
  3. Place the broccolini in a single layer on two sheet pans. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, and toss well
  4. Roast for 15 minutes until the broccolini is crisp and tender
  5. For the garlic sauce, combine the garlic confit, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt to taste
  6. Char a lemon half to garnish, and plate the roasted broccolini with lemon sauce spooned over
